Le Premier Ministre, Monsieur Guillaume Kigbafori SORO, a reçu ce jour, mardi 11 septembre 2007, à son cabinet, de 16h à 16h 40, l’état-major du Centre de Commandement Intégré (CCI). La sécurisation des audiences foraines était le point unique inscrit à l’ordre du jour de la rencontre.



A la demande du Premier Ministre, le colonel Nicolas KOUAKOU, commandant en chef du CCI, a présenté un schéma de sécurisation élaboré par son institution.



Ce schéma se présente comme suit : il s’agit, d’une part, de la protection rapprochée des équipes d’audiences foraines et, d’autre part, de la sécurisation des sites d’audiences foraines.



Le commandant en chef du CCI a ensuite exposé au Premier Ministre les moyens humains, logistiques et financiers nécessaires à la pleine réussite de cette opération. C’est le lieu de noter que le schéma de sécurisation présenté mobilisera près de 1200 hommes sur le terrain au démarrage de l’opération.



Le Premier Ministre a, pour sa part, renouvelé sa confiance et celle du gouvernement au CCI qui, a-t-il souligné, est un instrument essentiel de la mise en œuvre de l’Accord politique de Ouagadougou. Il a exhorté l’état-major du CCI à assumer pleinement sa mission de sécurisation des audiences foraines dans les ressorts des trois cours d’appels couvrant le territoire national.



Le Premier Ministre a par ailleurs fermement recommandé au colonel Nicolas KOUAKOU de renforcer sa capacité opérationnelle en s’appuyant sur la disposition 6.1.2 de l’Accord Politique de Ouagadougou qui ouvre possibilité, avec le concours du Facilitateur du dialogue direct, à une levée partielle de l’embargo des Nations unies sur les importations d’armes légères dans le cadre spécifique du maintien de l’ordre.



Dans cette perspective, le Premier Ministre a annoncé une visite de travail de l’état-major du CCI, à Ouagadougou, au président Blaise Compaoré, Président du Faso, Facilitateur du dialogue direct, dans les prochains jours.
